Naked Bodybuilder Leaves California Couple Hospitalized

Forget being robbed by masked gunmen, unclothed, 300-pound muscle-bound freaks are the latest ruffians you should fear.

According to reports by local authorities in Colton, California, a 300-pound, naked bodybuilder attacked a couple who returned to their home after a party, savagely beating the husband and tossing the wife around like a rag doll.

Neighbors came to the couple’s aid and chased suspect Ruben Arzu, 22, from the home and cornered him in a nearby backyard until police arrived to arrest him.

The 5-foot-10 Arzu, who police say was under the influence of drugs including steroids, seem unfazed by stun guns and eventually required the efforts of four officers to finally subdue and cuff him.

“It’s a good thing our officers arrived on scene so quickly, because who knows who was next,” Colton police spokesman Ray Mendez told the San Bernadino Sun.

According to KABC Los Angeles, the two victims, Leo Rubio and his wife, were taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment and are both in a stable condition.

Arzu was also taken for treatment from injuries he sustained during the incident and is is facing two counts of attempted murder and one count of aggravated mayhem.

Police say at this time, the motive for the attack was unclear.
