Darren Wilson Death Threats: Jaleel Tariq Abdul-Jabbar Arrested

Darren Wilson death threats began not long after the Michael Brown shooting in Ferguson on August 9. A Washington man making death threats against officer Wilson was arrested on December 2. A Department of Justice criminal complaint neglects to mention the officer by name but references the target as “D.W.” and makes other “obvious” identifying statements which reportedly point to the Mike Brown shooter.

Jaleel Tariq Abdul-Jabbar was arrested for making Darren Wilson death threats on Facebook, according to the Justice Department complaint. The death threats posted online targeted not just the Ferguson police officer involved in the Michael Brown shooting, but were directed at his family members as well. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Wilson’s recently married another police officer on the same department, and the woman is now pregnant with the couple’s first child.

“Are there any REAL BLACK MEN that would love to go down to Ferguson Missouri to give back those bullets that Police Officer [D.W.] fired into the body of Mike Brown. If we’re unable to locate Officer [D.W.] then We’ll return them to his wife and if not her then his children. We need to kill this white motha f***a [photo of Darren Wilson inserted] and anything that has a badge on” and “Ready to go and kill some cops.”

Acting U.S. Attorney Annette L. Hayes had this to say about the Darren Wilson death threats and Jaleel Tariq Abdul-Jabbar, “Although we each have the right to express our views about the decision reached by the state grand jury in Ferguson, Missouri, we cannot tolerate violence or threats of violence that are intended to intimidate, and ultimately silence debate. Such threats are crimes, and the individuals who make them must be held to account.”

Jaleel Tariq Abdul-Jabbar started making threats against the Ferguson police officer shortly after the Michale Brown shooting and reportedly continued making such statements on Facebook through late November. After the Darren Wilson grand jury chose not to indict the officer in the Mike Brown shooting, Abdul-Jabbar posted, “hook a ninja up on the connect,” when attempting to purchase a gun. “Time to kill a cop,” the Washington man accused of threatening to kill Darren Wilson added.

Will Michael Brown’s stepfather be arrested for attempting to incite a riot because he shouted, “Burn this b***h down” after the Ferguson verdict was announced to the public? What do you think about the Darren Wilson death threats and the arrest of Jaleel Tariq Abdul-Jabbar?
