Advanced Warfare Offers Gold-Plated Armour To Top Players

Developers of Advanced Warfare, (the latest installment in the hit Call Of Duty series), Sledgehammer Games, has a special gift for the top players of the game. The developers took to Twitter to announce and show that they have a brand new gold-plated gear known as the Grand Master Character Gear set for the top 100 ranked players worldwide.

The amour can be earned through game-play in multi-player matches and although many Advanced Warfare players are excited about their latest virtual gadget, Game Rant criticized the Grand Master Character Gear set as one which is purely aesthetic in its functions and only adds personality to a player’s avatar.

“With so many people playing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, most players will never actually run across the Grand Master armor. Still, it’s fun to know that it’s out there, and a unique (and awesome-looking) outfit is a cool way to reward the best competitors without penalizing the hundreds of thousands of other players who don’t quite measure up.”

But the Grand Master Character Gear set is not the only gift that Sledgehammer Games has for Advanced Warfare fans this Christmas. Producer Michael Condrey has revealed a number of updates for Sledgehammer’s debut game in the Call Of Duty series. According to Express Online, Condrey has revealed that Advanced Warfare’s next patch for Xbox One, PS4 and PC will include fixes for map exploits, along with weapon re-balancing and changes to ranked play.

“Other updates have been released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 after their next-gen counterparts. The new content looks set to land by the end of week, followed by a special weapons pack included for Xbox Season Pass holders on December 11.”

Game Rant also reported that early next year, players will be able to get their hands on the first wave of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s DLC, which includes an update to the franchise’s popular zombie mode.

Earlier in November, the Inquisitr reported that Sledgehammer Games released its first patch for Advanced Warfare within a few days after game’s release. The Inquisitr reported that the patch came after the Call of Duty community forums lit up with suggestions for improvements to the game, but also addresses several bugs present in both single and multi-player game modes.

But amidst all the patches, the latest installment in the Call Of Duty series continues to do well. Game Spot reported that Sales monitor Chart-Track claims that Advanced Warfare has sold more copies during UK Black Friday than any other title since records began.
