‘Cake Boss’ Star Buddy Valastro Apologizes And Pleads Guilty For DWI

Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro is now apologizing after his arrest made headlines. Valastro was arrested for a DWI on November 13 when he was pulled over for driving under the influence in New York City.

At the time of his arrest, the TLC star shouted, “You can’t arrest me. I’m the Cake Boss.” The boss of New Jersey’s Carlo’s Bakery is now singing a completely different tune.

According to People magazine, Valastro is pleading guilty, and has come forward with an apology to all of his viewers by sending out several tweets explaining just how sorry he is.

“I thought I was fine to drive, but I wasn’t. I put people in danger. I am very disappointed in myself. I’ll never get behind the wheel of a car again, even after one sip.”

At the time of Buddy’s arrest, the Cake Boss star’s blood-alcohol level content was slightly above the legal limit. According to the New York Police Department, “He was noticeably unsteady on his feet, bloodshot watery eyes.”

As the Inquisitr reported, he was brought drunk to the 7th Precinct on the Lower East Side in Manhattan after he failed a sobriety test.

On Monday, Valastro pleaded guilty, and as a result his license will be suspended for a total of 90 days. Buddy will also have to pay a $300 fine.

Days prior to his arrest he lost his aunt Anna, which he made public by posting a photo with a heartfelt caption.

“To my auntie Anna, I’ll always remember the great times we had together and we know that you are up in heaven with daddy now. We miss you so much and will always love you.”

It seems despite Buddy’s misstep his fans are still behind him 100 percent.

Do you think Buddy’s apology is sincere?
