‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Tom Schwartz: ‘It Would Be Heartbreaking’ If Katie Cheated

Vanderpump Rules star Tom Schwartz is known as the goofier guy on the show, as he is always joking around and he has no problem mocking himself to make people laugh. Schwartz isn’t one of the primary guys on the show, as he isn’t working at SUR, but it isn’t due to a lack of trying. Tom has been considered twice for a job with Lisa Vanderpump, but he has disappointed her on both occasions. Tom claims that it is because he idolizes Lisa so much, according to the Inquisitr.

However, Tom Schwartz is a bigger part of the storyline this season, because of his relationship with Katie Maloney. While she has been talking about possibly getting married and having children, Schwartz is more concerned about how much money he has in the bank. In fact, Tom would prefer to wait until he was more financially stable. But these two may have bigger fish to fry, as cheating rumors surfaced on yesterday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules.

According to a new Bravo report, Tom Schwartz is now revealing that he doesn’t think that Katie cheated on him, but does add that if she did cheat for emotional reasons, he would be completely heartbroken.

“If she was emotionally invested and leading some sort of surreptitious life on the side with another dude, we would have to call it quits. It would be heartbreaking. These are just my feelings on the matter,” Tom explains.

But that doesn’t mean that Schwartz is accepting of a drunken flirt either. In fact, he appears to be very upset with the fact that people are trying to make him break up with her, especially since they believe that her cheating should not be forgiven.

“To reiterate I don’t think either scenario is OK, they are both awful but to a different degree. In regards to these accusations in particular, I’d say bullsh–. It’s something innocent getting sensationalized, maybe due to their ire towards Katie,” Tom Schwartz reveals, adding, “Even if they were true, I know it would have been innocent/drunk flirting. Not that I think that’s acceptable within a relationship — but you have to be reasonable and have perspective.”

As fans of Vanderpump Rules saw in the preview for next week, Tom’s own fidelity gets brought into question, as he may have made out with another girl. And Schwartz doesn’t deny that he may have done something wrong.

“I was a bad boy this season. I wasn’t like a Jax, but I was my version of a Jax. … I lost sight of myself a little bit this season. I think at one point I was really taking our relationship for granted. Everything that happens was a good wake up call for me. I think we want the same things, it’s just when we want them that seems to be a big issue,” Tom reveals about Katie.
