Christian Bale Thinks George Clooney’s Paparazzi Whining Is ‘Boring’

By now we know that all Batmans aren’t made equal, but since there’s only a few actors in the industry that can call themselves the Caped Crusader, they should all get along, right? On the contrary, actor Christian Bale has a bone to pick with former Batman George Clooney.

According to the New York Post’s Page Six, Bale doesn’t like to hear about Clooney whining over the paparazzi. In fact, Bale thinks Clooney should just shut up. While promoting his new film Exodus, the actor told the Wall Street Journal that Clooney should stop complaining over the cons of fame.

Bale, who is notorious for being a hot head, said of George’s issue with the paparazzi.

“[It’s] boring. It doesn’t matter that he talks about it. It’s like, ‘Come on, guys, just shut up. Just get on with it and live your lives and stop whining about it.’ I prefer not to whine about it.”

So how does he handle those chaotic situations with the paparazzi? As most know, you can’t get in Christian Bale’s face without expecting a fight. According to the Exodus star, it’s all about knowing how to handle himself in that particular situation.

“You’ve got a choice,” said Bale, and then he continued to give an example.

“I was in Italy with my wife. I would go to work; she would leave the hotel. There would be a man who stood outside… and say the most obscene things imaginable to my wife… I know what he’s after; he has a strategy there.”

He continued, “Am I able to say I’m not gonna give him that satisfaction of angry Christian Bale coming after this man? But equally, he’s killing my humanity and my dignity as a husband if I do not, and he knows this. So you’ve got a choice.”

Who do you think wins in this battle? Here’s a few responses so far.
