Flying On An Airplane Is More Harmful To Your Body Than You Think

Did you know that flying on an airplane can actually be harmful to your body?

Many people are not aware of that. Reading the question alone might have made you think to yourself, “Really?”

However, as you can clearly see in this viral video that was originally posted online by BuzzFeed, there are at least seven different ways that your body can actually be harmed by the effects of flying in an airplane.

1. Crossing two or more time zones can force you to experience jet lag.

2. One-third of your taste buds will become numb.

3. At cruising altitudes, your blood absorbs less oxygen.

4. The decreased air pressure in the plane can cause your body further discomfort.

And that is just the tip of the iceberg!

Technology does not really matter in this regard. Even with the most cutting-edge, state-of-the-art technology that is being used in the modern-day world of aviation, these harmful effects are still worth considering. Whether you would like to admit it or not, BuzzFeed clearly just wants to make sure that you are informed.

Keep in mind that you are more likely to get in a plane crash than to become diagnosed with cancer from the radiation that you are exposed to while flying on a plane. However, these harmful effects that flying has on your body should still increase your level of caution when it comes to increasing your frequent flyer mileage.

Were you aware that flying on an airplane could have such a detrimental effect on your body?
