Shia LaBeouf Raped By Woman At Art Exhibit As Her Boyfriend Waited Outside

Shia LaBeouf was raped. That’s the shocking claim being made by the actor, who told an interviewer that a woman whipped his legs, removed his clothing, and sexually assaulted him in a closed room while her boyfriend waited just outside the door.

The alleged rape took place on Valentine’s Day 2014 during LaBeouf’s “I Am Sorry” art installation, reported MSN, and the female suspect’s boyfriend wasn’t the only one nearby when it happened.

Shia LaBeouf’s “I Am Sorry” art installation consisted of the actor sitting silently in a room while fans and other interested parties entered one at a time. On Valentine’s Day 2014, there were hundreds of people waiting in line as the actor was reportedly attacked. LaBeouf expressed compassion for the unnamed woman’s boyfriend when he wrote about the disturbing incident in an email to Dazed and Confused magazine writer Aimee Cliff.

“One woman who came with her boyfriend, who was out side the door when this happened, whipped my legs for 10 minutes and then striped [sic] my clothing and proceeded to rape me… then walked out with her lipstick smudged to her awaiting boyfriend who i [sic] image [sic] was quite hurt by it. All this happened in front of hundreds of people… Yea it was no good. Not just for me but her man as well.”

According to Shia LaBeouf himself, his girlfriend was waiting in line among hundreds of attendees while he was being raped. After the alleged assailant left the room where it took place, word of the incident reached LaBeouf’s girlfriend. He explained the situation to Cliff.

“On top of that my girl was in line to come see me because it was Valentines Day & i was living in the gallery sleeping in a sleeping bag for the duration of the event – we were separated for 5 days. No communication. So it really hurt her as well as i guess the news of it traveled through the line. She was only about 25 people back when she came in she asked for an explanation and i couldn’t speak so we both sat with this unexplained trauma silently. It was painful. The hardest part of the show.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, not everyone believes that Shia LaBeouf was raped. Piers Morgan in particular sent several tweets indicating that the actor should apologize for his claim and stating that LaBeouf’s claim is demeaning to “real” victims.

Furthermore, a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman reportedly denied that any claims involving LaBeouf reported to the LAPD. However, the LAPD is not allowed to release the names of victims anyhow. Therefore, it remains unknown whether LaBeouf did report the incident to authorities.

What do you think of Shia LaBeouf’s rape claim? Do you agree with Piers Morgan, or do you think that too few men who are victims of sexual assault actually report the crime to police? Comments are welcome.
