Red Hot Chili Peppers announce U.S. tour, starts next year

For the first time in nearly five years, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are gearing up to kick off a new tour across the U.S. beginning next year as part of their ‘I’m With You‘ world tour.

The world tour, which kicked off in Bogota, Columbia in September, will make its first stop on U.S. soil in Charlotte, North Carolina on January 25. After that, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be stopping by South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.

Only six dates in North America have been revealed so far, but a spokesperson for the band told MTV News that even more tour dates in the US will be added as the tour moves forward, so those of you on the West Coast are likely to get your shot at seeing the Red Hot Chili Peppers at a later date.

The band’s world tour is in support of their tenth studio album, “I’m With You“, which was released in August of this year. The last time the Red Hot Chili Peppers toured the U.S. was in 2007, as part of their tour to promote their ninth studio album, Stadium Arcadium.

You can check out the full list of tour dates over on Red Hot Chili Peppers’ official website.
