Kate Middleton Being Forced To Adhere To ‘Strict Style Guide’ While Pregnant By Palace

Kate Middleton only returned to the public arena fairly recently following a difficult first trimester while pregnant with her second royal baby.

As was widely reported, the Duchess of Cambridge suffered from a severe case of hyperemesis gravidarum, better known as morning sickness, and was out of royal action for a good few months due to her condition.

Kate is now very much back “in the public eye,” and is sporting a cute baby bump, which is becoming more and more apparent as her pregnancy progresses.

But in a far cry from her usual “modest yet sexy” getups, the Duchess is reportedly being forced by the palace to adopt a “strict style guide” during her second pregnancy while on official royal public business.

Huffington Post reporter Anne Chertoff claimed recently that Kate Middleton will likely stick to her “main style tenants” wardrobe for her maternity wear, similar to what she wore when pregnant with Prince George.

According to Chertoff, the Duchess won’t break her “number one rule” of wearing a skirt or dress, which falls just slightly above the knee.

“During this royal pregnancy, you’ll find the Duchess predominately in dresses, less form-fitting than her norm,” she said.

On top of the question of the hemline, the Duchess also allegedly has strict guidelines to adhere to as far as how much cleavage she can show while out in public. The blue Jean Packham dress that Kate Middleton wore on October 21 definitely showed quite a bit of cleavage, so no doubt that will be off the Duchess’ royal clothes list for now due to the new rules.

The International Business Times reported that Kate has received a bunch of fashion advice from her personal assistant, Natasha Archer, who has been influential in her choices of maternity wear. Archer has also apparently encouraged the Duchess to breakaway from the “strict (royal) style guide” and dress just a little bit more provocatively.
