Camille Grammer Thanks ‘RHOBH’ For Giving Her A Platform For New Passion

Camille Grammer was a part of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during the first couple of seasons, and fans watched as she went through one of the toughest things. She discovered that her husband, Kelsey Grammer, had been cheating on her, and had been keeping another woman in his apartment in New York. In addition, he wanted to marry his mistress.

It was no secret that Camille Grammer was heartbroken, but she divorced Kelsey as he was preparing to become a father once again with his mistress. But Camille’s battle was far from over. After getting divorced, she was diagnosed with cancer, and she made headlines in the news after rumors of an abusive relationship with her boyfriend surfaced. Now, Grammer is revealing that she has found a passion.

According to a new Bravo report, Camille Grammer is revealing that she is thankful for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because the show gave her a platform she didn’t previously have. After leaving the show, Camille was diagnosed with Stage 2 Endometrial Cancer. She is currently in remission, but this experience has given her a new mission in mind. Grammer wants to educate women about cancer.

“This is my passion right now. I am a third generation to battle cancer,” Camille has revealed about her personal struggle, adding, “I watched my grandmother suffer. I was there when my mom had chemo and I’ve gone through it myself.”

If Camille Grammer hadn’t been such a big part of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she may not have been able to share her journey as successfully with women across the nation. Perhaps that is why she is returning to the show this season, according to the Inquisitr.

“Because of ‘Housewives,’ I have a platform and a voice to raise awareness and why not? I had a really difficult year and I’m turning lemons into lemonade,” Camille reveals.

Camilly Grammer is working with The Foundation for Women’s Cancer, and she recently put together the Camille’s Crusaders team to run 5 kilometers. The race was for charity, and she was thrilled at the number of people who showed up to support her.

“I’m proud of the girls who came and joined me. It was emotional, uplifting and inspiring,” Camille revealed, adding that her team raised the second highest amount for the cause in the race’s history.

It is admirable that she can focus on this new venture and move forward, given how badly her ex-husband has hurt her. Grammer recently slammed her husband in the press, but it sounds like she just wanted to remind people of his horrible actions a few years ago.
