‘Jurassic World’ Teaser Welcomes Visitors Back To Isla Nublar [Video]

The first teaser for the highly-anticipated Jurassic World has been released. Okay, it’s actually a teaser of an upcoming trailer that is scheduled to premiere during the 49ers-Seahawks game on NBC, but it does give Jurassic Park fans a little taste of what they can expect.

The official Jurassic World Twitter page released the 15-second teaser that shows the gates of the new park on Isla Nublar. The page also mentioned that the trailer would make its premiere on NBC at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

Even though this is a teaser for the upcoming trailer, many people looking forward to Jurassic World expressed their excitement on Twitter.

But there are some who are a little skeptical about the film.

While the teaser doesn’t give much in terms of plot, there is a glimpse of a very serious-looking Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and some of the other cast members. There is also a brief look at some of the dinosaurs that will be featured in the film, and there is a slow version of the famous theme song from John Williams.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, several websites have launched as part of the Jurassic World marketing campaign, including one for Masrani Global. Another is the film’s official site, and it features a countdown to the trailer’s premiere.

The film’s IMDb page doesn’t have too much in terms of the plot, other than mentioning that it takes place after the events of the first film.

“Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond.”

Along with Pratt, Jurassic World also stars Nick Robinson, Judy Greer, Vincent D’Onofrio, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Jake Johnson. The film was helmed by Safety Not Guaranteed director Colin Trevorrow.
