‘Once Upon A Time’ Spoilers: Is Hook A Goner, And Will Ursula Bring Anna To Storybrooke? [Video]

Once Upon a Time fans who are in love with Captain Swan have a very good reason to be concerned right now. Rumplestiltskin has Hook’s heart in his slimy crocodile hands, and he’s planning on using the pirate to do some of his dirty work.

Unfortunately, there’s no Once Upon a Time tonight because ABC is airing the American Music Awards. However, Emma Swan actress Jennifer Morrison recently gave Oncers a preview of what they can look forward to on their favorite fairy tale show, and it might help fans endure the long break before next week’s episode.

Some fans were probably freaking out over a recent TV Line report about the Once Upon a Time midseason finale. Showrunners Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz hinted that Captain Swan or one of the show’s other popular ships might start sinking very soon.

“Two of the show’s most beloved relationships will be tested and changed forever as Storybrooke says goodbye to some of their own.”

Obviously, Emma’s relationship with Hook is going to be tested now that Rumple can control him. As the Inquisitr previously reported, the puppet master will use the pirate as a hit man, and Hook believes that he’s a dead man as soon as Rumple is finished with him.

However, Jennifer Morrison gave Captain Swan shippers hope by revealing that Emma isn’t going to let her lover remain heartless for long. During an interview with ET Online, Morrison said that Swan will set out to save the swoon-inducing swashbuckler in a future episode.

“There’s so many things going on, but eventually somehow Emma is going to help him get his heart back.”

Morrison also stated that Hook won’t love Emma less just because he’s missing his ticker.

“He does seem to still love me without a heart. You have to look at Regina and look at the rules of the heart stuff: When she removed her own heart in order for her not to be vulnerable, that didn’t mean that she still didn’t love Henry and she still didn’t love Robin Hood, she just still didn’t have the heart in her chest.”

Recent set photos show Jennifer Morrison filming scenes with Hook actor Colin O’Donoghue, so Captain Swan fans can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that he’ll survive the midseason finale of Once Upon a Time.

Morrison didn’t drop any hints about the Storybrooke residents who will say goodbye during the midseason finale, but it’s possible that they’ll be casualties of the Snow Queen’s Spell of Shattered Sight. Jennifer confirmed that the curse will eventually be cast, and it will turn everyone in town against each other. However, Emma and Elsa’s magic ribbons might protect them from the spell’s effect.

Another relationship that will be tested in upcoming episodes is that of Belle and Rumplestiltskin. Rumple has seemingly given up on being good, and Belle is not going to be a happy camper when she discovers the long list of dirty little secrets he’s been hiding from her. Adam Horowitz told TV Line that Belle’s “strength and heroism play a key part in the fall finale,” so perhaps she’ll stand up to her ever-scheming spouse.

However, fans of Rumple needn’t worry about the beloved baddie being one of the fall finale casualties — as the Inquisitr previously reported, actor Robert Carlyle was photographed on the Once Upon a Time set filming scenes with the show’s new villains, Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit) and Ursula (Merrin Dungey). They’ll likely make their first appearances during the second half of the season.

However, it’s also possible that Ursula could play a role in reuniting Anna and Elsa before or during the midseason finale. Fan footage taken of the Once Upon a Time set shows Anna and Kristoff washing up on Storybrooke’s shore in a giant chest, so perhaps the sea goddess ensured their safe passage.

A promo for next week’s Once Upon a Time doesn’t reveal much, but it does seem to tease that the Snow Queen might succeed in casting her curse by the end of the episode.

Are you relieved that Hook will survive the midseason finale of Once Upon a Time, and do you think that Ursula will play a part in Anna and Kristoff’s arrival in Storybrooke?
