Phaedra Parks Reconciling With Apollo Nida While He’s In Prison? Apollo Claims So

If Phaedra Parks is reconciling with estranged husband Apollo Nida, it would be a shocking concept given the bitter fallout of their crumbling marriage. Apollo is currently serving time at a Kentucky prison for fraud and identity theft. The Real Housewives of Atlanta stars are in the middle of a divorce following a summer of continuous headlines revolving around the state of their marriage.

A source said to have spoken with Radar Online says that, although Apollo claims he and Phaedra will work on their relationship while he’s in prison for eight years, it’s downright false. The pair have their own attorneys and are “working on a divorce agreement and settlement now.” Parks and Nida want to dissolve the marriage “amicably” and with as “little drama as possible.”

This is a different story than the one Apollo gave to In Touch magazine in an interview that was just released. He tells the magazine that he’s hopeful the marriage can be saved. He also claims they speak frequently on the phone.

“Yes, we’ve had problems — especially over the last year — but we’ve gotten on terms now where I can call her and it’s cordial. I’m hopeful that we can stick things out.”

Phaedra’s rep, Steve Honig, disputes claims made by Apollo that Phaedra is reconciling with him. He contacted In Touch to set the record straight after Phaedra learned what Apollo said in his first interview since entering prison.

“The divorce is proceeding as planned. While Phaedra and the boys [Ayden, 4, and Dylan, 18 months] do speak with Apollo regularly, there have been absolutely no discussions about reconciling.”

Radar Online’s source says Phaedra Parks just wants to move on after divorcing Apollo Nida.

“Ideally, once an agreement is reached, both parties will file for divorce at the same time in Georgia and indicate it has been resolved. There is no rush to get this done. Apollo is in jail and Phaedra has moved on?. She is focused on being the best mother possible to their two young sons, Ayden, 4, and Dylan, 18 months.”

It’s interesting that Apollo is taking this stand after everything that’s happened. Could he be delusional or in denial that his marriage is about to end, and that he’s unable to see his sons right now? Nida has been in prison since mid-September. Is he just trying to stir up more drama behind bars to keep the publicity going and get to Phaedra?
