‘Scandal’ Spoilers, Return Date: Lives Are In Danger In ‘Where The Sun Don’t Shine’

Thursday night, the Season 4 Scandal midseason finale airs, and fans are anxious to see what’s going to take place. Lives are in danger, and Rowan seems to be at the center of it all. The Season 4, Episode 9 show is titled “Where the Sun Don’t Shine.” It seems that Command can’t be outwitted, and everybody tied to Olivia is in danger. Scandal spoilers via the TV Guide synopsis indicate that Cyrus will be hit with the consequences for his actions, and Quinn and Huck will finally figure out what Elizabeth’s been up to. Will they be to late to take care of the situation? It’s definitely not going to be an easy task.

There is a big return in this episode, and Scandal spoilers from TVLine indicate that viewers will be seeing Maya return. What is Olivia’s mom up to this time? It seems Mama Pope has a bold plan to take down Rowan, but fans will have to tune in to see who comes out on top in that battle.

People shares a big Scandal spoiler sneak peek. Jake wants to ensure that Olivia is fully prepared to do battle against her father should it come down to that. She thinks that Rowan wouldn’t kill her, but Jake isn’t so sure. He believes he’s next on Command’s hit list, and he believes Olivia is in serious danger as well. Jake wants her armed and ready to shoot and he takes steps to ensure she’s fully prepared.

As Katie Lowes, who plays Quinn, noted via Facebook, the fall finale is airing earlier this year than it did last year, disappointing some fans. However, as Lowes points out, there will be more episodes slated to air in the spring than what viewers got last season. Fans will recall that Season 3 got cut a few episodes short, seemingly due to Kerry Washington’s pregnancy. This season will be a full 22 episodes again.

When will Season 4 of Scandal resume? TVLine notes that it kicks back into gear again on Thursday, January 29. This is the same return date that Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder have as well, and fans are glad they won’t have to wait too terribly long for new episodes.

Will Rowan survive the episode? Fans know that with this show it’s good to be braced for twists, turns, and shockers, and that will certainly be the case Thursday night. Tune in to the midseason finale of Scandal airing on ABC on November 20, then hold on tight until Season 4 picks up again on January 29.
