Mom Arrested For Pimping Out 15-Year-Old Daughter Found Guilty

The Florida mother who decided to bring her 15-year-old daughter to New York City during Super Bowl week to pimp her out was found guilty as charged on Wednesday

Daily News reports that 39-year-old Yolanda Ostoloza was convicted of endangering the welfare of a child, as well as promoting prostitution, by Justice Daniel Conviser on Wednesday after a bench trial in the Manhattan Supreme Court.

Rachel Ehrhardt, the assistant district attorney of Manhattan, stated during summations that Yolanda Ostoloza had a plan for her daughter that was very different from the average girl her age.

“Think about what a barely 15-year-old girl is supposed to be doing. Planning for her Sweet 16, preparing to get her driver’s permit. Doing her homework during her sophomore year of high school. Maybe even thinking about a high school sweetheart… But for [Ostoloza’s daughter], her mother had another plan for her… sexually exploit her child for money.”

New York Post reports that Yolanda’s responsibility as a mother to her 15-year-old daughter was also used by Ehrhardt during her opening statement.

“She is the one person that was supposed to protect [her]… The one person that was supposed to protect her betrayed her and sold her to the highest bidder.”

Yolanda Ostoloza was arrested shortly after attempting to arrange a date on behalf of her daughter with a man.

Metro reports that on the night in question, Yolanda arranged the meeting with a potential customer and sent her daughter out with a price list for a variety of sexual services and condoms.

Little did Yolanda know that the man who her daughter met was an undercover detective with the New York Police Department. Reports state that the undercover cop responded to an online ad to set up the date for January 29th for an agreed price of $200. Yolanda’s teenage daughter showed up at the New York Hilton in Midtown.

Yolanda’s lawyer claimed that accused pimp Damon Hayes was the one responsible for setting up the arrangement and sending her 15-year-old daughter on a date.

According to court papers, Yolanda Ostoloza confessed to local police that she knew exactly what she was doing when it came to coming to New York for work and to “make money with a pimp.”

“I knew it was for escorting and prostitution. I thought my daughter was just going to do the fetish stuff.”

Yolanda Ostoloza faces up to a maximum of 15 years in prison when she receives her sentence.
