Nick Jonas Doesn’t Regret Virginity Talk
In case you missed it, Nick Jonas wants you to know that he’s all grown up. Whether its through racy photo shoots of the singer grabbing his junk or candid interviews, the youngest brother in the disbanded Jonas Bros. has been proving he’s someone to look out for. So, you’ll have to endure seeing his face and hearing his top 40 charting songs.
It’s easy to see why Nick would want to grow out of his JoBro image. He was the cute-as-a-button little brother that no one really drooled over at the height of the band’s teeny bopper fame. Although the 22-year-old Jonas is all grown up, he doesn’t regret the growing pains that got him to where he is now.
Surprisingly, one big thing he doesn’t regret is the much talked about purity rings that he and his brothers wore as a vow to keep their virginity. In an interview with Wendy Williams, Nick said he doesn’t regret that time in his life.
“I don’t regret it. I think it was an important part of my childhood and it was that. As I grew up, I sort of figured out what was important to me and my own belief system. We all grow up and we all live life and find out what’s important to us, that’s what happened. I went on that journey myself and I’m now comfortable with who I am and what I believe in and I’m an adult.”
Wendy Williams wasn’t going to let Nick get off that easy. She pressed to see if he was still a virgin, and Nick was happy to proclaim that he is not.
“As I said, I’m an adult in all ways.”
Of course, this isn’t the only time the younger Jonas brother has brought up his virginity. As the Inquisitr reported in an interview with Attitude magazine, Nick said “Sex is such an important part of a healthy life, in the sense that it’s such an intrinsic part of who you are. When your sex life is not healthy, you resort to other things as an outlet. And in terms of the show, that’s tough to watch.”
Right now, Nick is dating former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo. Of the relationship he said, “We’re enjoying the ride together and its’s been a pretty insane year and half. Lots of changes in both of our lives and she’s been a teammate through all of it.”
