Tina Fey May Know Why The Internet Was Obsessed With Kim Kardashian And Her Butt!
Last week, the internet was attacked when the big wigs behind Paper Magazine tried to “break it.” How did the magazine attempt this? Through the most provocative and scandalous pictures of Kim Kardashian to ever grace social media. Because of the sudden popularity, the Inquisitr made sure to keep up with the latest on the Kim Kardashian photoshoot. Of course, with the idolized perfection of said photos, rumors of the photos being retouched would eventually surface, an allegation which turned out to be true. And despite how much this benefited Kim’s popularity, the backlash of said photos is tantamount. From other stars expressing disdain to moms stating the photos put girls at risk for child abuse, it seems Kim’s photos did more damage than good.
For one whole week, the internet was fascinated with Kim Kardashian’s nude pictorial with Paper Magazine. However, why were Kim’s photos so popular? It’s not like her most provocative parts have never been sexually exploited before, taking into account her Playboy spread and her hardcore sex tape. Apparently, Tina Fey may have provided the best answer for society’s addiction to Kim. Not just that, Tina made gave this revelation three years ago!
According to both Time and the Huffington Post, Twitter user Ryan Nelson pointed out on November 13 that Tina Fey briefly discussed Kim Kardashian’s assets (especially her voluptuous derriere) in her best-selling memoir, Bossypants. In it, Tina summed up why so many people are so enamored by Kim.

Taking into account what Tina Fey has said in her memoir, the reason why Kim Kardashian is so popular and desired is because she does a great job promoting and selling her image. That is why Kim can release a couple of nude photos and “break the internet.”
It is also the promotion and selling of her image that makes Kim Kardashian a celebrity — because she has no real celebrity history prior to Keeping Up with the Kardashians. As a matter of fact, Kim gained exposure by piggy-backing on Paris Hilton as one of her partying friends. She then followed up with a relationship with singer Ray J, who is the younger brother of popular R&B singer Brandy. It is also through that relationship that Kim Kardashian would first be fully exposed in a leaked private sex tape.
In conclusion, Tina Fey’s statement shows that Kim Kardashian’s promotion and selling of her image is fortunate to her and her family but will surely be a crutch for most girls. They now have another society-idolized standard that might be impossible to reach.
