Kim Kardashian On Naked Photo Shoot: ‘My Back Hurt For About A Week’ – Here’s Why

Kim Kardashian finally decided to open up and talk about her controversial yet viral Paper magazine photo shoot.

Just Jared reports that, during a recent interview on the Australian television show The Project, Kim Kardashian talked about the overall experience of working with photographer Jean-Paul Goude for the photo shoot.

“I was so honored and excited to work with [Jean-Paul Goude] because he is a legend, and for me that was something I wanted to do to make myself feel confident. As a role model I’m not saying anyone else should do that, but for me it was an art project and it taught me to do what you want to do.”

The 34-year-old reality TV star also said that she experienced physical pain long after the photo shoot with Jean-Paul Goude had ended.

“My back hurt for about a week after that shoot… I used muscles… [Goude] has an art of posing you and it was definitely not comfortable.”

Kim Kardashian may have enjoyed the experience of being photographed by Jean-Paul Goude, but the idea to completely take off her clothes did not apparently belong to him. A Yahoo! Style interview with Mickey Boardman, editorial director of Paper magazine, gives all of the credit for that idea to the reality starlet herself.

“Kim’s attitude was ‘if we’re gonna do it, let’s really go there.’ And it was her idea to take off her clothes and show more than her butt… She said she was willing to take her clothes off and one thing [led] to another.”

Since the naked pictures of Kim Kardashian from Paper magazine were first released online, they have arguably done exactly what they were designed to do — #BreakTheInternet.

There have been many people (including celebrities) that have applauded Kim Kardashian for taking such a bold step. On the other hand, many others (such as Naya Rivera) have criticized her.

A lot of internet memes and viral pictures have made fun of Kim Kardashian’s Internet-breaking pictures — including a Photoshopped image of Miley Cyrus with Kim’s butt recently posted on Instagram recently. Ellen DeGeneres and Porta de Rossi even decided to spoof the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s butt for their own Christmas card this year.

However, none of the negative reactions and spoofs seem to be affecting Kim Kardashian very much at all. In the interview with The Project, Kim Kardashian was able to honestly express exactly how she personally feels about the pictures.

“I’m never one to preach, but I felt really positive and really good about myself. I love the photos, I did it for me, I hope other people like them.”

It is apparently clear that Kim Kardashian has no regrets.
