Will Smith, Ex: Son’s Birthday Brings Couple Back Together For Celebration

Will Smith and ex Sheree Fletcher’s son’s birthday brought the two back together to help celebrate Trey’s big day. Trey Smith turned 22-years-old and the group met up at the Ghostbar Dayclub at the Palms in Las Vegas to make the most of the occasion.

According to Yahoo! News, Will Smith, ex Sheree and their son’s birthday gathering also included Will’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith. The family has worked hard over the years to create a harmonious family unit for the kids, and it would seem that this outing was no different. Photos from the party show everybody smiling and making the most of the outing, it seems.

Fletcher, who has starred on Hollywood Exes, was married to Smith from 1992 to 1995. Will went on to marry Jada in 1997 and she termed her role in Trey’s life as that of a “bonus mom.” The name has stuck over the years. Will and Jada also have kids Jaden and Willow. Sheree went on to marry Terrell Fletcher, a former NFL player who is now a pastor in California. Sheree and Terrell have split and are now in the process of divorcing.

Pinkett Smith has spoken in the past about the decision she and Sheree made to put Trey first and set their own issues, baggage and craziness aside. From the looks of Jada, Will Smith and his ex at their son’s birthday party, it’s working for them.

Trey is a deejay now, going by the name DJ Ace, though Sheree has said that he doesn’t really care for the limelight. She notes that he’s had a very different upbringing from Jaden and Willow. Though he grew up close to Will and his family with Jada, he also was able to avoid a great deal of the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.

During the birthday party, Fletcher posted a picture showing her with Will and Jada, noting that she was “Celebrating @ace0011 with the BEST bonus mom ever!!! #Jada & babydaddy #VegasBaby #palms #GhostBar.” As E! Online notes, both Will and Jada took to social media to make note of the big day as well.

While both Sheree and Jada have expressed over the years that it was a difficult challenge to build their relationship, it certainly appears that they’ve found a way to ensure it works. Trey’s big day seems to have been a hit, based on the photos from Will Smith and his ex at their son’s birthday party.
