Amanda Bynes Apologizes Publicly For Threatening To Murder Her Parents

Amanda Bynes certainly had some apologizing to do after she spoke the unspeakable, in a leaked audio, where she openly fantasized, in detail, about killing her parents.

To offer a better idea to readers who aren’t familiar with Amanda’s alleged comments, here are some excerpts from the audio, as reported by People, in which Bynes had no idea she was being recorded.

If your father was my father… then you would understand why you’d want to slit his wrists … I haven’t decided how I want to murder him… I don’t believe in murder… He literally like is the worst person… Nothing would give me greater pleasure than like slitting his throat. That is what I would love to do.

According to Radar Online, after the audio went viral on the usual internet channels, Amanda Bynes just had to say something publicly, to at least save some face, as no matter how low she has gone in the past, talking about murdering her own parents went one step too far.

Bynes told Access Hollywood today, “I’m sorry I trusted people who clearly were not my friends and capitalized on my illness. I am doing my best to get better. I am truly sorry for the statements I made. I am sorry for any pain I caused my family and others. I am thankful for everyone’s patience and understanding. I never expected others to take advantage and profit from my condition. I’m disappointed with those who lulled me into a false sense of security only to find out they really are only interested in selling my privacy to the media.”

According to Bynes’ lawyer, David Esquibias, his client is no longer hanging out with said “friends” who recorded Amanda talking about personal matters without her knowledge.

“These girls are just looking to make a buck. Amanda sees her doctors four days a week and I’m in contact with her all day, every day,” he said.
