Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald’s honeymoon location has finally been revealed, and many 19 Kids and Counting fans will be surprised by where the newlyweds chose to go to celebrate their union.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Duggar Family Blog turned Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald’s honeymoon location into a guessing game by posting a photo of the couple enjoying their first romantic getaway as a couple. Some fans speculated that Jessa and Ben are in Israel because the foliage in the background appears to be an olive tree.
However, according to the Hollywood Gossip, new photographic evidence proves that the 19 Kids and Counting stars are actually enjoying being chaperone-free in Paris, France. The City of Light might be known for its romantic atmosphere but, of course, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald had to do something to remind their faithful fans just how important their faith is to them. Instead of catching a cabaret show at Crazy Horse, the couple visited the famous cathedral at Notre Dame.
According to Starcasm, Jessa and Ben didn’t spend their entire Paris trip admiring pretty places of worship. The couple was also spotted touring the Eiffel Tower, and they left a token of their love at the Pont de l’Archevêché. Foreign lovers have made it a custom to attach padlocks to the bridge, and Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald etched their names and wedding date on their “love lock.”
Some fans might be surprised that Jessa and Ben opted to enjoy an extravagant honeymoon in Paris, but the couple previously hinted that they had something big in store for their post-big-day vacay. During an interview with ABC News, Ben Seewald revealed that he and Jessa Duggar were trying to keep their wedding cost down so that they could splurge on their honeymoon.
“We want to have a nice wedding that everyone will enjoy but at the same time, we’d like to push our budget more toward our honeymoon because that’s our time together. That’s our first few weeks together.”
The couple also revealed that TLC is documenting their honeymoon for 19 Kids and Counting.
Because they’re busy trying to enjoy their honeymoon, Jessa and Ben might not be aware of the latest Duggar family scandal. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar recently asked married couples to share kissing photos on their Facebook page. The Duggars caused controversy when they started removing pictures of same-sex couples from the page and this action has drawn attention to a petition that was created to get 19 Kids and Counting cancelled. The petition documents the Duggars’ history of discrimination against members of the LGBTQ community.
Jessa was recently accused of consummating her marriage in church, so she might be relieved that her parents are the subject of the latest Duggar scandal.
