Nicki Minaj Credit Score Drops, Real Social Security Number Leaked

Nicki Minaj is reportedly a victim of identity theft after her real social security number was leaked online.

Radar Online reports that it was that social security number leak which eventually led to the credit score of Nicki Minaj plummeting recently.

Keep in the mind that the 31-year-old Young Money rapper is definitely not hurting for money – especially with her consistent track record of hit singles and album releases in recent years.

How, then, did something like this happen?

Radar states that her social security number was left unedited on a police booking photo that was leaked online. The photo was originally taken back in 2003 when Onika Maraj (aka Nicki Minaj) was arrested in New York City for shoplifting.

The social security number was not removed and a booking report was published with the complete number by a news outlet earlier this month.

Inside sources claim that Nicki Minaj’s team was immediately notified when the irregular activity on her credit report affecting her credit score was first discovered.

“Nicki’s credit score dropped almost 100 points soon after, because there were many inquiries into her financial records. The credit reporting agencies, detecting a lot of irregular activity, immediately notified Nicki’s camp.”

Most musicians and singers are highly upset when their albums and singles are leaked online without their permission. However, this type of leak is a lot more serious than getting an advance copy of an album. Reports claim that Nicki Minaj is not taking the situation lightly.

“Since Nicki’s social security number was made public on the booking information sheet, and that was leaked to the media this week, it’s out there now,” the source said. “Nicki might have to get a new social security number. It’s caused her a lot of stress.”

Nicki Minaj is reportedly not the only person from Young Money Records that is struggling with financial problems. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, rumors claim that the entire record label is heading into bankruptcy.

Even though Nicki Minaj’s credit score and overall identity has suffered a devastating blow, Nicki will more than likely press forward as she ushers her career into a brand new chapter – especially with the upcoming release of her highly-anticipated album, The Pink Print.

Music Times reports that The Pink Print will be released on December 15 even though it was originally scheduled to be released in late November.

Do you think that Nicki Minaj will be able to repair her credit score and restore her identity?
