Tom Brady Heads To Hollywood, Leaving New England Patriots?
Tom Brady is trading in his New England Patriots uniform, but he’s not heading to another team. Instead, he’ll be going to Hollywood to become a movie star. TMZ reports that actor Mark Wahlberg recently confirmed that Brady will appear not only in Ted 2, but in the upcoming movie Entourage as well.

Wahlberg, who is reportedly good friends with Brady and a huge Patriots fan, spoke about Tom’s upcoming movie roles on Bill Simmons’ podcast The BS Report last week. He told Simmons, “I just shot another movie. I shot Ted 2. We have an amazing performance from none other than the greatest quarterback of all time, Tom Brady.”
Wahlberg, who will be in both films along with Brady, went on to say that the QB, who plays himself, “does an amazing job. Funny, funny moment.” He then described the scene that the Patriots QB appeared in with him.
“I’m playing an air conditioning guy, so I’m asking [Brady] to sign the paper, and I say ‘can you sign it to me and Ted and put No. 12 there, and can you put Eli Manning sucks. And put Wes Welker is a traitor.’ And we just kept playing around and I’m staring at his eyes, and I’m like, ‘They’re bluer than Daytona Beach in MTV Spring Break.”
Not only will Tom Brady appear in Ted 2, he’ll play himself in next summer’s movie, Entourage. Joining him in the film will be his teammates, Rob Gronkowski, Stevan Ridley and Julian Edelman.

Wahlberg is producing the film and is excited that he’ll have so many great NFL players to work with. Brady is no stranger to Entourage, appearing in season 6 of the HBO series produced by Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson.
“We got (Rob Gronkowski), we got (Stevan) Ridley and we got (Julian) Edelman all in the ‘Entourage’ movie. And Tom’s in the ‘Entourage’ movie. So, I got him in two movies. It’s going to be a big summer for those guys.”
If the New England Patriots go to the Super Bowl this season, it will be a great year in Tom Brady’s world. Not only will he be “going to Disney World” if he wins Super Bowl 2015, he’ll also be going to the movies.
Entourage will premiere in theaters on June 5, 2015. Ted 2 is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 26, 2015.
