Kris Humphries is getting diddly squat from his divorce with multi-millionaire Kim Kardashian, but he should be able to tide himself over with the $150,000 endorsement deal he just signed with Sector Watches.
Humphries, who is currently unemployed due to the never-ending NBA lockout, made the announcement at a press conference today. Humphries told USA Today:
“I’m happy to be here. As you all know, this has been a difficult time in my life, and I’m so grateful [for] my friends at Sector for their unwavering support… I’ve been a watch and fashion lover my entire life and a competitor and the no limit tag is really about how I approach my career. I’m really honored to be with the Sector brand. Most of all, they really do have great watches.”
Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries signed a pre-nuptial agreement before their 72-day marriage. According to the agreement, Humphries won’t receive any money from the Kardashian empire. Humphries has hired a lawyer, but he said that his lawyer is only there to make sure things go smooth.
The Kardashian / Humphries wedding added more than $17 million to Kardashian’s portfolio. But it could be the last big pay day for the reality TV star. A petition to get Kim and the rest of the Kardashian clan off the air has garnered 150,000 signatures. Kim’s wedding special had more than 4.4 million viewers, so E! probably isn’t paying too much attention to the petition.
Do you think Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries wedding was a sham?
