Iggy Azalea Releases Snippet Of ‘Heavy Crown” and “We In This B*tch”

With her new album Reclassified releasing on November 24th, Iggy Azalea released a teaser snippet of her second single, “Heavy Crown.” The video, linked below, does contain profanity and may not be safe for work.

The first single from the album, “Beg For It,” was already released in both studio and live recordings. Azalea’s new snippet features Ellie Goulding’s vocal stylings on the hook, and then blends into to Azalea’s own sound on the verse.

Radio reports that Iggy Azalea’s Reclassified is a reimagining of the album she released earlier in 2014, The New Classic. This new Azalea record includes five entirely new cuts mixed in with hits like “Black Widow” and “Fancy.” The album also features a collaboration between Azalea and Jennifer Hudson.

According to Philip Cosores at Radio:

“If “Heavy Crown” is any indication, Reclassified seems to make a case for a stronger Azalea release on all fronts.”

Boombox, meanwhile, suggests that the new song is a direct commentary towards those who aren’t fans of the Australian rapper and might even be considered a direct dig from Iggy to rival Rah Digga, who made a few uncomplimentary comments towards Azalea a few months ago.

The lyrics certainly do seem to be addressing “haters” towards a newcomer.

“So keep it cute chick, and don’t be hating on a new chick / Go back and check your stats and bet they let you know I do’s this / Basis full or empty depends on your point of view chick / If you was mad before I bet you hate me for this new s—”

A snippet to a second song, titled “We In This B*tch” has also been released; the lyrics again do contain profanity, so don’t listen without headphones if that’s not appropriate for where you are.

Lyrics like “I had to write a hit to get this type of chip/ Riding d–k won’t get me nowhere, I ain’t that type of chick,” inspired MTV‘s Nadeska Alexis to comment:

“Well, tell ’em how you really feel Iggy.”

When she’s not busy recording music, Izzy Azalea is apparently learning some tricks from her boyfriend, Laker point guard Nick “Swaggy P” Young. Her dunking abilities were memorialized on Instagram two days ago; if you listen, you can hear Young making noise at her perfect form.

Apparently, Iggy has a ways to go before she signs with the WNBA, though Azalea took to twitter later that same night to report:
