Lana Del Rey Dissed By Rap Master Eminem In New Video

Eminem has dissed Lana Del Rey in his latest release, a video of his new freestyle rap. The rap is being used to promote his latest work, Shady XV.

ThyBlackMan reports that in the newly released video, Eminem also references the incident between Ray Rice and his wife, Janay. Eminem released the video, which is 18-minutes long, on November 10. The video features no music. It is predicted the video will go down in history as one of the rappers greatest creations.

“I may fight for gay rights, especially if they d–e is more of a knockout than Janay Rice. Play nice? B–ch I’ll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance / ‘Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens,” Eminem raps.

Del Rey joins a growing list of celebrities Eminem has targeted in one of his songs. Eminem has also dissed Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Kim Kardashian.

The Guardian published an article about Eminem and his use of misogyny in his songs as a means of furthering his career.

“We pretend to be shocked by his words, and yet the world remains as misogynistic as ever. He causes temporary controversy until we move on to something else, forgetting why we were upset in the first place. As a method of inserting himself into the current cultural conversations surrounding women (and in particular, women in music), attacking women in his singles offers instant selling publicity,” the article read.

Soon after the video’s release, female rapper Azealia Banks took to Twitter to defend Del Rey.

“@LanaDelRey tell him to go back to his trailer park and eat his microwave hot pocket dinners as a way of furthering his career. And suck on his sister’s ti**ies. Does Eminem know I will personally punch him in the mouth,” Banks tweeted.

Back in 2012, during an interview, Del Rey spoke of her love for Eminem’s work.

“He really changed my life. I didn’t know music could be so intelligent. He wasn’t just rhyming for rhymes sake. That made me think I could actually talk about the way things actually were. He’s a genius,” Rttnews reports Del Rey said.

Del Rey has yet to respond to Eminem’s latest release, but chances are she will no longer be praising the king of rap.
