‘Family Guy’ Creator Seth MacFarlane Allegedly Hit On Fox News Contributor At Gas Station Back When She Was In High School
Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane may have angered the wrong Fox News contributor. After the devastatingly handsome multi-talented creator of the animated hit series Family Guy tweeted a message about the Keystone XL Pipeline, Fox News contributor Michelle Fields retaliated by tweeting about an incident that reportedly took place at a gas station while she was still a teen.
“Depressing to hear the Republican Congress immediately start in about the Keystone XL Pipeline,” Seth MacFarlane wrote on Twitter. “Is it ALWAYS just about oil with you guys?”
“[I]ronic coming from the guy who tried unsuccessfully to ask me out at a gas station while filling up his luxury car,” Michelle Fields responded to the Family Guy creator.
“Oh ya,” Fields added. “And when I was in high school.”
Oh ya, Michelle Fields is getting lots of high praise for that awkward non sequitur. Twitchy even posted an article with the headline, “Michelle Fields puts the icing on Seth MacFarlane’s humiliation cake,” calling MacFarlane a “creepster,” among other not-so-nice things.
According to Mediaite, it took six days before Michelle Fields responded to Seth MacFarlane’s question about Republicans and oil with a comment about being hit on at a gas station when she was in high school. As for MacFarlane, he hasn’t even bothered to respond to Fields’s allegation. Flirting with a random high school girl at a gas station might be less memorable than meeting the multimillionaire creator of Family Guy pumping gas.
Fields is only 26-years-old. Family Guy originator Seth MacFarlane is 41. Depending upon when the gas station incident allegedly took place, Fields would have been in her teens and MacFarlane in his late 20s or early 30s. MacFarlane did have a romantic relationship with Amanda Bynes, who is 13 years younger. So he could conceivably have a penchant for younger women. Fields is 15 years younger than MacFarlane.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Family Guy and The Simpsons finally joined forces in a recent crossover episode, but one of the episode’s jokes fell flat before the show even aired. The scene was part of the teaser for the crossover. Under Bart Simpson’s watchful eye, Family Guy perpetual baby Stewie makes his first prank phone call to Moe’s, the same bar Simpson has been tormenting with prank calls for years.
“Hello Moe? Your sister’s being raped,” Stewie tells Moe after the beleaguered bartender answers the phone. It was a line so questionable that Family Guy inventor Seth MacFarlane said he knew it would cause trouble in advance.
