Taylor Lautner was Nervous About Dancing in ‘Breaking Dawn’

, the 19-year-old actor best known for his role as Jacob Black in the Twilight movie series, has recently confessed that dancing makes him “nervous.”

In a recent interview with MTV News Lautner was questioned about an upcoming scene in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 in which the young star shares a dance with Kristen Stewart.

“So is that something you enjoy, or are you like ‘Oh god, I’m going to look like an idiot’…” MTV reporter Josh Horowitz asked Lautner, referring to the choreographed dance.

“Both,” recalled Lautner, who reportedly took up Hip-Hop dance as a high school student. “I was extremely nervous, especially when they told us there was going to be lifts and stuff. I was like, ‘Are you kidding me? Are we on “Dancing With the Stars”? No.’ I thought it was going to be a simple slow dance, which it was in the end, but there were a few little lifts I was nervous about.”

Despite his anxiety regarding the scene, however, Taylor revealed that he was pleased with the final product, saying:

“In the end, it turned out well. It’s a very beautiful scene, visually, and everything that’s going on in it.”
