Teresa Giudice Lowers Price Of Home

Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe listed their New Jersey home for $3.999 million ahead of their October 2 sentencing, but recently, just months before Teresa enters prison, the reality stars have lowered the home’s asking price substantially.

“On the heels of ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ reunion this week, Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe, have slashed the price of their home by $500,000,” TODAY reported on November 12. “It’s now listed at $3.499 million.”

“The custom-built home in Towaco is lavishly decorated with marble floors, custom moldings and lots and lots of chandeliers. The front door opens to two gold-trimmed Cinderella staircases under a massive crystal chandelier. Upstairs, a girl’s bedroom is painted bright pink and outfitted with a cheetah-print sofa and a poster that says ‘Be Fabulous.'”

Teresa Giudice and Joe “bought the place for just $530,000 in 2002,” the Daily Mail reported on November 13. “It was not until 2008 that they moved into the home however, TMZ claims, after renovations that doubled the size of the formerly 5000-square-foot property. The website alleges that the Towaco mansion was worth around $1.2 million in 2012.”

In other news regarding Teresa and Joe’s house, as reported by the Inquisitr, the convicted felon will be expected to allow her probation officer to search her home after she completes her upcoming 15 month prison term, which begins on January 5.

“[Teresa Giudice] must check-in with her probation officer within 72 hours after leaving prison,” Radar Online reported on November 4. Then, Giudice must “permit a probation officer to visit him/her at any time at home or elsewhere, and shall permit confiscation of any contraband.”

During the recently aired Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion show, Teresa Aprea went head-to-head with Teresa, calling her out for starting rumors regarding her husband’s alleged affair with her mother in an effort to take the attention off of her prison sentence.

“I think you like to be the queen of your castle,” Aprea told her, according to the Inquisitr. “I think my family was getting a lot of attention and I just think you wanted the attention off of you and your case and your negativity, so let’s just throw someone else under the bus. I’m not going to get into the whole production thing and Teresa, they were mad at you because you weren’t bringing anything to the show.”

“I wasn’t bringing anything to the show?” Teresa Giudice asked in response. “The whole show was about me!”
