Tasha Smith Fears She’ll End Up Dead Like Michael Jace’s Wife, Hubby Accuses Her Of Sleeping With Women
The legal drama between Tasha Smith and her husband Keith Douglas is still ongoing. TMZ is reporting today that the Tyler Perry star has filed court documents outlining the abuse that she has endured from her husband. In the legal paperwork obtained exclusively by TMZ, Tasha Smith claims that it is her jealous hubby Keith Douglas who flies into violent rages and screaming matches laden with curse words and accusations that she is having sexual relations with women.
Specifically, Smith says her husband calls her a “f**kng d*ke.”
Tasha Smith also tells the judge that she is often left in fear of her own life, and that she told her husband that she is afraid she could end up dead like Michael Jace’s wife.
“When he’s in a rage, I feel that he is capable of killing me.”
Michael Jace, best known for his role in The Shield, shot and killed his wife, April Denise Jace, in their home in Hyde Park. He then called police and stated, “I’ve shot my wife.” The 40-year-old mother left behind her children. He is currently awaiting trial. Tasha Smith claims that she was friends with Michael Jace. In a twist, not long ago Tasha Smith and Keith Douglas posed in a happy Facebook photo as they dined. The photo is similar to the infamous April Jace and Michael Jace photo.
Tasha Smith claims to have proof of her husband’s abusive and violent behavior, and she has celebrity friends that can back her up. Actresses Tisha Campbell Martin and Elizabeth Rohm are named in the court document.
Last week, the Inquisitr reported that Tasha Smith’s husband, Keith Douglas, filed a restraining order against the Why Did I Get Married star in court. In documents, Doulgas said he had grown tired of Tasha Smith’s drunken binges and her violent temper, stating that Smith had even threatened to kill him in front of the children.
The judge granted the request and ordered Tasha Smith to stay 2 yards away from Keith Douglas while at home, and 100 yards away when they are outside the home. According to the couple’s Facebook page, they are both listed as motivational speakers. In addition to Tyler Perry’s movies, the For Better or Worse actress is known for her roles in various television series, such as Nip/Tuck, Girlfriends and Chicago Hope.
