Jennifer Lawrence Wardrobe Oops: Pic Of J Law’s Malfunction In Back Of Cab Surfaces

Like the fictional character she plays in the Hunger Games film franchise, Jennifer Lawrence knows how to think on her feet and respond to sticky situations. Monday, when J Law boarded a cab after leaving the Mockingjay – Part 1 premiere in London, she had a wardrobe oops that showed off a bit more nip than she cared to. Jennifer Lawrence’s wardrobe malfunction was classic, but Katniss Everdeen would have never worn that thigh-high plunger of a gown.

Lawrence, 24, made light of her wardrobe snafu when her dress failed. She certainly got the exposure for her upcoming movie release, in which she stars alongside Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. But the kind of publicity she got inside a taxicab was not on the agenda.

The photos show Jennifer Lawrence’s wardrobe oops and her laughing it off when she apparently realized photographers were getting lenses full of bare-chest snaps that would soon plaster magazines, social media, and tabloid sites.

Jennifer donned a white and metallic dress that accented her curves and was equipped with an eye-catching plunge-line that left little to the imagination. The A-Lister donned dark makeup which brought out her cat-like eyes, and wore silver sandals that showed off her minimalist pedicure. Earlier, on the red carpet, she accessorized her hair with a headband. However, she lost it in favor of a casual up-do for the after-party.

When the wardrobe oops took place, Jennifer Lawrence was sharing a cab with Royals hitmaker Lorde, who recorded a song for the soundtrack for the third installment of Hunger Games. Jen tried to be modest and coverup her peek-a-boo area just beyond her slit, and even attempted to shield prying eyes from her wardrobe malfunction. Little did she know, there remained the side-boob issue.

The risque ensemble upstaged the Dior gown Jennifer wore on the red carpet, and the oops in the back of the cab was the icing on the cake for a dress that pushed styling elements to the limits. The good thing about the situation is Lawrence was a good sport about it. After experiencing a series of embarrassing falls in the past, the Oscar winner can deal with a little nip-slip, right?

During the premiere, she spoke fondly of her co-stars, Liam and Josh.

“Oh my God. They are my angels. They are my kittens. We can’t even watch the movie together. It’s really really hard acting with your best friend, because you have to pretend to be somebody else, and they are pretending to be somebody else. And you have to keep eye contact with them and be serious. It’s really hard.”
