‘Honey Boo Boo’ Bombshell: Did Mark McDaniel Father One Of Mama June’s Kids?

The Honey Boo Boo scandal just took a strange turn, and it’s safe to say that the former reality television stars aren’t out of the media woods just yet. According to InTouch Weekly, there has been some new gossip surrounding Mama June’s boyfriend, Mark McDaniel, and the paternity of one of her kids. The person who started the rumor just happens to be Mama June’s other daughter — the one who was molested by McDaniel when she was a child — Anna.

“[Mark] was supposed to be [Pumpkin’s] so-called father or whatever it is. You know, out of all the kids we have, Mama does not know who Pumpkin’s dad is. And Pumpkin thinks it’s Mark which kind of hurts my feelings, because Mama is making her believe that someone who did that to me is her father. Now Pumpkin hates me for it,” said Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell.

While Honey Boo Boo a.k.a. Alana Thompson is Sugar Bear’s daughter (as far as the public knows), many believed that her sister, Pumpkin a.k.a. Lauryn, was too. However, it sounds like there is a chance that Pumpkin’s dad is McDaniel. Anna went on to say that McDaniel may have come back into the family’s lives because he wants to spend time with Pumpkin, and be a father to her after spending the past decade behind bars.

According to Radar Online, Anna also revealed that Mama June is mad at her for outing McDaniel.

“My mama didn’t believe me for a while, and she’s like, ‘Why would you do that? Why would you do that to me? I can’t believe you did that!’ And I was like, mama, HE did it, I can’t take the past back — either you believe me, or you don’t believe me, it doesn’t matter to me.”

Since that time, Anna says that her mother has pretty much begged her to forget the past, let it go, and move on.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Mama June’s decision to date a convicted sex offender has caused her to lose her reality television show. TLC was fairly quick to pull the plug after the news broke online. However, Mama June’s career may not be completely over. She and her daughter Honey Boo Boo will be making cameo appearances in Dumb & Dumber To, and as far as actor Jeff Daniels knows, their scene has not been pulled from the film.
