Heather Locklear, Jack Wagner Call Off Engagement

Actress Heather Locklear and former Melrose Place co-star Jack Wagner are no longer planning to tie the knot, a rep for Locklear has confirmed.

At the time Locklear and Wagner confirmed their engagement, the pair had planned to take any blending of families slowly given both parties were coming into the relationship with kids. Wagner commented at the time on the couple’s marriage plans and considering the impact on their children overall:

“You know, she has a 13-year old daughter, and I have a 16-year old boy and a 20-year old so we’re not rushing into anything – we’re really focusing on being good parents.”

Locklear also commented on the issue of kids and her at the time impending nuptials with Wagner:

“Ava was so excited when we told her… She hugged Jack, said congratulations, and she immediately wanted to see the ring. Then she ran and Facebooked her new stepbrother.”

That was in August. Now the pair appear to have split up, as Locklear was spotted at the premiere for Breaking Dawn Part One- the newest installment in the Twilight saga- sans her engagement ring. Rumors swirled that the couple had split, and a rep for Locklear soon confirmed, saying “Jack and Heather are no longer engaged.”

The planned trip down the aisle was not the first for Locklear, who had been married twice prior to the brief engagement. Before Pamela Anderson, Locklear married Tommy Lee, and the two were together from 1986 to 1993. She then wed Richie Sambora, and that marriage lasted from 1994 to 2006. After that, Locklear was linked with ex-SNL actor David Spade.
