Watch: Fox News’ Megyn Kelly Accidentally Drops F-Bomb Introducing Mike Huckabee

Sometimes, there’s a man with a name that just invites profane mixups. Or sometimes, you just conflate two words and make one bad one. One of the two happened – or maybe both – on Fox News when host Megyn Kelly accidentally dropped an F-bomb while introducing former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.

Everything was going fine on Monday night for Megyn Kelly, all the way up until it came time to introduce fellow Fox News personality Mike Huckabee.

“Joining me now,” Megyn started out, smooth sailing so far, “former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, who is the host of F**a – ” and that’s as far as Kelly got before catching her error.

The best part is F***a – Oh, darn, it’s just so easy to do – is Huckabee’s face during the f-up. It’s hard to tell whether that’s a pained smile or contained laughter on Huck’s part. Considering the tone of Huckabee & Friends, we’re going with “pained smile.”

No, then again, watch his face again. That’s Mike Huckabee’s inner 11-year-old bubbling to the surface.

Twitter, as The Blaze points out, wasted exactly no time in getting all giggly over the incident. Surprisingly, though, nobody went with the easiest reference.

Maybe that’s because nobody saw I Heart Huckabees. Maybe there’s little overlap between I Heart Huckabees-referencers and Fox News watchers. Alas.

Later in the show, Kelly pointed out the mistake, saying that she had “sworn once on the program.”

“Something else that happened on the program is also getting a lot of attention on Twitter,” Kelly said, “and including this tweet from some nice man named Sean who said ‘Megyn, you’re a delight to watch and gave a stoic performance after your slip-up with Governor Huckabee’s name.’ I thought I was stoic too – I have a heart of a 12-year-old boy.”

If the news correspondent thing doesn’t work out, she could always get a job at Domino’s.
