Justin Bieber is working through the plea deal requirements of his egging case. It’s been revealed the singer has nearly completed his anger management classes and will work his five days of community labor service at MusiCares.
The 20-year-old has also paid off the judge-ordered $80,900 restitution to settle his case.
On Monday, Bieber’s lawyer Shawn Holley updated a judge on the Canadian’s progress in completing his two-year probation. So far, the singer has completed six of the required 12 anger management classes he must attend.
To get around the problem of a mob effect when Bieber is doing his community service — which typically involves picking up trash on freeways and roads, graffiti removal and beach clean-up tasks — he will work five days at MusiCares’ L.A. center, painting walls, moving office furniture, and doing any other kind of physical labor.
MusiCares is a foundation dedicated to helping musicians struggling with addiction, health, and other problems.
TMZ reports MusiCares has been used before by courts and the probation department to fulfill community labor requirements. The site adds Bieber is on course to have the singer’s tasks completed by February 2015, although his probation doesn’t end until 2016.
Back in January, Bieber was accused by his former neighbor in Calabasas, California, of egging his house. After police raided his home, surveillance video taken from the singer’s property reportedly implicated him.
Fast forward to July, the pop superstar pleaded “no contest” to a misdemeanor vandalism charge and agreed to plea deal terms listed above, including a condition to stay away from the former neighbor and his family for two years.
As the Inquisitr reported, the “Boyfriend” singer has been on a religious retreat following a split with on-off girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
At the end of October, the Biebs stayed with his pal, Pastor Carl Lentz, of Hillsong Church in New York City. The singer attended services and bible study during that time, before he joined Pastor Judah Smith’s (of The City Church) “Jesus Is” tour for two days, according to sources.

Another user on the social site, who also saw Justin at the church, managed to get snaps with Kendall and Hailey.

Earlier Monday, the singer posted an Instagram selfie which showed him writing in a book.
His caption read, “The old is gone the new is here” #workinprogress.”
It looks like Justin Bieber has taken himself in hand and is ringing the changes.
Good to see.
