Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ Gets Gorgeous Violin Duo Rendition [Video]

Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” might as well be directed toward her country roots. Taylor herself stated that it was her first complete move to the pop paradigm to which she’d been shifting for several albums. But that hasn’t stopped two violinists from doing a cover that makes the song sound like it would on a Taylor Swift album, circa 2006.

The band is called Chargaux, and is made up of two friends who met while at music college and now perform together as a duo. Their other music is in the same style, but “Lullaby” is an original composition.

Chargaux seems to be excited that their video is getting them so many hits, hopefully leading people toward their other material. The band tweeted this message early Sunday morning to express their gratitude for people who had shared the video.
