Teresa Giudice Admits She Was Naive, Tells ‘RHONJ’ Co-Stars To ‘Be Careful’

Teresa Giudice said she thought that doing The Real Housewives of New Jersey would be fun, but she was naive when she first signed on to do the show. According to People Magazine, Giudice has been reflecting on her past now that she is going to prison. On the RHONJReunion show, Teresa opened up to Andy Cohen about how she looks at her time on the reality television program, and how it has changed her over the years.

“I was like, ‘This is going to go back to season one. I came on the show for fun and it went a totally different way.’ I mean, look at where I’m at now. I was so naive. There were people that came on the show that tried to hurt Joe and I. Some of them were housewives and some of them were strangers. Like even people that just came to parties started a lot of trouble,” Teresa said.

Teresa Giudice has not had the easiest time on Housewives, and now that her life is about to change forever, she is starting to see just how much the show has changed her and her family — and not necessarily for the better.

According to Us Weekly, Teresa warned her co-stars about their futures on the show, suggesting that trouble could be around any and every corner. Perhaps knowing the negative side effects of reality television better than any of her friends, Teresa wanted to let her situation (not necessarily her legal issues) be an example for the other ladies. It is more about the people who come on the show to spread rumors and break up families that the women should be wary of.

“Just be careful. There are people that come on the show that try to hurt you,” Teresa said.

Teresa Giudice has not had an easy time on Housewives. She has had a bumpy road with her brother, Joe, and his wife, Melissa. She has also lost a close relationship with her former best friend, Jacqueline Laurita. Many of these relationships were strained because of the show, and because of people who came on the show to meddle in people’s business. The show is very family oriented, and that has been a central theme since the beginning.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Giudice stormed out of the RHONJ Reunion after she watched a clip of her aunt talking about her. While some thought that her reaction was a little dramatic, Teresa took it personally, and said that “family doesn’t act like that.”
