Olivia Munn Opens Up About Balancing Work And Romance

To outsiders, Olivia Munn seems to have it all. The actress has long been a name that is popular with television viewers, and she recently made the jump to the big screen. Olivia also has a longstanding romantic relationship with one of the best quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL.

To some, Olivia’s relationship with Aaron Rodgers is peripheral to Munn’s career that includes a starring role on the HBO series The Newsroom. To others, Olivia’s ability to keep the relationship going despite disparate yet incredibly busy schedules is the real news. Munn recently sat down with E! Entertainment Network to talk about how she and Aaron are able to keep their relationship in a good place despite the demands that meet anyone who is surrounded by fame.

Olivia Munn started off by saying what many people probably expected. Concessions need to be made especially when you are talking about a power couple that Munn and Rodgers. Olivia stated, “You make decisions because it can’t all be work and it can’t all be your personal life, especially when you’ve worked so hard to have a career.” The brunette added that there is a lot of traveling and a lot of driving that needs to be done in order for the couple to see each other.

Olivia also talked about the rampant rumors that can be started by seemingly innocent maneuvers that would never be noticed if the couple wasn’t in the public spotlight. Munn pointed out how Rodgers had recently given her a rather expensive ring after just six months of dating. Because it was a ring, rumors began swirling that the two were engaged in whirlwind romance that was going to lead to marriage rather quickly.

The actress made it clear in the interview that the ring was not meant to be an engagement ring.”I wore this for a premiere, and he had heard me talking to my stylist about being obsessed with it. It is such a special ring, and then he surprised me.” She said, “It’s not that kind of ring, by the way. It’s not the special ring. I mean, it’s a very special ring, but it is not THE special ring.”

Olivia and Aaron apparently attempted to keep their relationship on the downlow for a little while. There were a couple of months where the two hadn’t come forward with the fact that they were dating. The cat is out of the bag for Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn these days.
