Carrie Underwood Debuts Video On Twitter, Gender Of Baby Revealed
Carrie Underwood had a big night. On Wednesday, she hosted the CMA Awards. However, by the end of the event, she posted her latest music video on her Twitter. Underwood released the video for “Something in the Water” for all of her fans. The song will appear on her upcoming greatest hits album, which is set for release on December 9.
Underwood wrote the song with Brett James and Chris DeStefano. Currently, “Something in the Water” is at number 12 on the Billboard charts. In the music video, dancers surround Underwood. According to NewsOK, the video needed “16 choir members, 12 dancers, three costume changes and a custom-built tank of recycled water to create its dance spectacle.” Travis Wall, best known for his time on So You Think You Can Dance, choreographed the dancers for the music video.
Carrie did speak about the work that went into creating the music video when she shared a behind-the-scenes look into the production with her fans.
“We took it in a direction that was probably not what most people would think. We just made it joyful and happy and uplifting.”
The music video release is not all Carrie Underwood made news with on Wednesday night. The singer is currently pregnant with a due date this spring. During the CMA Awards, she revealed to her co-host, Brad Paisley, that she was expecting a boy. She whispered that information in his ear. However, the gender did not remain secret for long, according to CMT News.
During the event, Brad and Carrie introduced Garth Books, and Brad joked that Carrie, and husband Mike Fisher, could name their child Garth. Carrie chastised the man for letting the gender of her baby slip. Brad later shared a photo of himself with Garth Brooks backstage on his Twitter account.

Brad and Carrie did poke fun at several celebrities during the CMA Awards. However, this was expected to happen. Last week, the duo visited several talk shows to promote the event, and they revealed that they planned to poke fun at those in audience.
It was during an episode of The View that Underwood revealed she was due in the spring, according to a previously released report by Inquisitr. The women of The View asked Carrie what was her biggest concern about her pregnancy. She revealed that she was most concerned about being responsible for a tiny human after she gave birth. Last week, Carrie was not showing much of a baby bump, but fans saw her baby bump on the red carpet last night.
