The wedding bells are ringing soon for Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, her new baby, 2-year-old son, and fiancé Jionni LaValle. But when it comes to the day of the ceremony, the Jersey Shore sweetheart is currently focused on one key element, and that's sticking to a Paleo-style low carb diet to achieve a shedding-for-the-wedding weight loss goal, revealed E! News.
Snooki shared that she exercised throughout her pregnancy. Now she estimates that she has 10 pounds left to lose before slipping sleekly into that wedding gown.
I have to just tighten up... It's just like loose skin, you know, around the belly. You just want to tighten up.But when it comes to whittling her waistline, Snooki believes that diet counts more than exercise for taking off the excess pounds, telling Access Hollywood all the details of her low-carb weight loss plan.
It is basically all diet! You have to eat well and you know try to do some cardio and breast feeding helps. It is 300 calories every time you pump. I would say losing weight is 80% diet and 20% working out. This isn't the first time that Snooki has tackled post-pregnancy pounds. She restored her pre-baby body after Lorenzo with a strict diet below, as shown in the video. Snooki's diet follows Paleo principles. That means no bread, pasta, or cereal, avoiding processed foods, and steering clear of anything containing sugar. Instead, Nicole focuses on consuming protein, non-starchy vegetables and some fruit. And because she's breast-feeding, Snooki is careful to eat well while slimming down.
"I am eating lots of greens, a lot of grilled chicken, salad and some fruits," she explained. "You just want to eat well and also make sure you're eating healthy for your baby because my baby is taking my milk."
As the Inquisitr reported, Snooki's wedding theme is based on The Great Gatsby. As a result, she's chosen a classic, vintage style. But she has two wedding dresses, so that she can change for the reception.
How will she include her baby Giovanna Marie LaValle and 2-year-old Lorenzo in that theme, along with her large family's tiny ones?
"All of the nieces and nephews, so there's eight total, including my kids. Lorenzo's going to hold a sign saying, 'Daddy, here comes mommy' before I walk out, and hopefully he'll walk down the aisle. You never know [with a 2-year-old], I might have to bribe him with a candy bar."Snooki's reality TV show began its final season on November 5. Snooki & JWoww's premiere on MTV included hints of what's to come. From a yoga class at which the girls collapse in giggles to preparing sushi, the season promises to become a classic.
