‘DWTS’: Sadie Robertson Dances With A Woman, Gets A Perfect Score, Steals A Kiss [Video]

Sadie Robertson had to fight hard for her first perfect score on Dancing with the Stars.

The Duck Dynasty star and pro partner Mark Ballas only scored 33 out of 40 points for their jive, which put them in fourth place this week. However, the pair proved that they’re still a force to be reckoned with during their trio dance with Emma Slater — judge Len Goodman was so impressed with the threesome’s foxtrot that he wanted an “11” paddle to hold up.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Sadie Robertson wasn’t expecting a perfect score at all. The Duck Dynasty star improvised a few steps during her routine, and she looked noticeably disappointed when the performance was over. She and Mark Ballas also took a huge risk by doing something no other couple has ever done on the show — their foxtrot was the first time a female celebrity danced with a pro celebrity for the trio routine.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Mark Ballas originally wanted to choose another male partner for Sadie Robertson to dance with. The pro he had in mind got snagged by another couple, but Mark told the Hollywood Reporter that things worked out for the best.

“I definitely took a minute to evaluate who I wanted after my original choice was taken, but I feel like I made the right decision. It really served her well, somewhat made history tonight on the show, — it’s never been done before — and I always kind of like to strive to do things differently. It went all according to plan for the most part.”

Despite their perfect score, Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas looked a little down in the dumps during an interview with ABC7. Mark seemed especially disappointed.

After the reporter pointed out that Mark and Sadie are only in fourth place going into the semifinals, the DWTS pro stated that he and his partner are just going to have to “pick it up” next week. Robertson was asked if she’s intimidated by any of the other couples, and she responded by saying that “everybody is intimidating” at this stage in the competition. However, she believes that she and Ballas can definitely compete with remaining couples and she really brightened up while talking about her perfect score.

Sadie continued celebrating her first 40 by stealing a kiss from boyfriend Blake Coward and sharing a photo of the smooch on Instagram.

“i am so blessed to have spent the past 10 months calling you mine :-)”

Perhaps her smooch was a response to the kiss shared by another Dancing with the Stars couple, Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy. Because Robertson is a 17-year-old with a boyfriend, she and Mark can’t use a showmance to score votes like Janelskiy can.
