‘Batman V Superman’ Director Is ‘Enthralled’ By ‘Uber Mega Environment’ Insists Holly Hunter

Holly Hunter has opened up about her upcoming role in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Of course, she didn’t say too much about the blockbuster, but she did reveal that the main actors and the film’s director are flourishing.

The Raising Arizona actress talked to the Wall Street Journal about her recent activities and as you can imagine the topic soon turned to Zack Snyder’s hugely anticipated superhero hybrid.

When Holly Hunter was cast, her addition was regarded as somewhat of a surprise. However, despite the fact that she isn’t used to starring in a film of such huge ambition, she admitted that she had fun on the film.

“It was really fun to be part of a giant, massive piece of machinery, headed up by Zack Snyder, who is thoroughly at home in that uber mega environment. Most people would have a nervous breakdown with that kind of pressure, and he’s enthralled.”

There was quite a simple reason why Hunter decided to join the film, too. It sounds as if she immediately felt at ease with the character, while she also teased that Snyder had sold her role to her very well too.

“Zack asked me. He came to me with an offer, and I was like, ‘Yeah, that would be fun.’ It’s fun to mix it up.”

Hunter was continuously pressed for more information on the film. She admitted that she couldn’t reveal too much because she didn’t “want anything to happen to [her] kids,” but she did confess that she shared the screen with Krypton’s most famous numerous times. But Ben Affleck fans shouldn’t feel left out because she also went on to declared that the Argo actor, alongside Henry Cavill’s Superman, “is quite formidable.”

“I have scenes with Superman. He looks phenomenal. And to see Ben [Affleck] and Henry [Cavill] together is quite formidable. They are massive hunks of masculinity.”

According to ComicBook.com, Holly Hunter is believed to be playing a U.S. Senator or another high ranking government official who is a mother figure to Batman. Of course, none of these rumors have been confirmed at all. Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice will finally be released on March 25, 2016. It is the sequel to 2013’s Man Of Steel and it will be followed by Suicide Squad, a solo Wonder Woman film, Justice League Part One, The Flash, Aquaman, Shazam, Justice League Part Two, Cyborg and Green Lantern.
