Lydia McLaughlin Of ‘RHOC’ Welcomes Her Third Son

Lydia McLaughlin welcomed her third son on Tuesday and, just before the child’s birth, the former Real Housewives of Orange County star was on social media.

As the Inquisitr reported, McLaughlin shared a message on Twitter early on Tuesday morning, telling fans it was the “perfect day to have a baby.” A short time later, her baby arrived.

“Lydia McLaughlin and her husband Doug have welcomed their third child, a little boy,” the former reality star’s rep confirmed to Us Weekly on November 5. “Son Roman Scott McLaughlin was born in Orange County on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 9:05 a.m. He weighed in at 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and measured 19 inches in length.”

“Baby Roman has captured our hearts and just like that our lives are forever changed,” McLaughlin told the magazine of her third child, who joins brothers Stirling, 5, and Maverick, 3. “We are so grateful to now be a family of five.”

In the months leading up to Roman’s birth, McLaughlin shared several photos of her baby bump online. She also shared a photo of the little guy’s nursery. As the Inquisitr reported, McLaughlin posted a photo on Twitter on October 6 along with the caption, “Baby Romans room is almost ready! #JustNeedBaby.”

Last November, after just one season with Bravo, Lydia McLaughlin revealed she would not return to The Real Housewives of Orange County for the show’s ninth season. According to the Inquisistr, McLaughlin released a statement explaining she never planned to make a career out of being a housewife.

“It’s bittersweet, I compare it to breaking up with a boyfriend you know you’re not going to end up with, it’s hard, but overall you know you’re doing the right thing. I want to build my brand outside of the Housewives, I’ve always been really honest with the producers about that. I knew that while I was filming it that I probably wasn’t going to be doing it again. I want to develop our own reality show about our magazine and all the glitz and glamour involved with publishing it.”

After McLaughlin left the show, Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino were reportedly fired and quickly replaced with new housewives Shannon Beador, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Rovsek and part-time housewife Danielle Gregorio.

Along with the first social media photo of Roman, Lydia McLaughlin wrote, “All glory to God for this perfect little miracle. #BabyRoman.” In the black and white Facebook photo, Roman is seen with a full head of hair, bundled up in a striped blanket.
