‘True Tori’ Cancelled? Dean McDermott Announces He’s Leaving The Show, Wants Privacy

True Tori might be cancelled. In a new interview with Access Hollywood Live, Dean McDermott made a somewhat shocking announcement: He’s done with reality television. McDermott, 47, has lived very much of his private life in front of television cameras, and it sounds like he has finally reached his breaking point.

“I’m not going to continue with the show. We have five more shows left… I can’t do this anymore. I can’t keep opening a vein, opening my soul and sharing my feelings and thoughts and demons with the world. I don’t watch it, I can’t. It’s really difficult… I can’t do it any more, for my soul,” McDermott told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on November 5.

Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling have been through a lot, and their fans have been able to go along for the bumpy ride thanks to their constant willingness to film their lives. McDermott’s recent issues (which include infidelity coupled with drug and alcohol issues) really put him in a tight spot. These are things that he should have dealt with privately, but instead his dirty laundry was laid out for everyone to see… and now? He has had enough.

As for the couple’s strained marriage, Dean isn’t ready to walk away from that part of his life.

“I hold out a lot of hope. If you don’t have hope what do you have? I love this woman, regardless of what I’ve done. I love her and want to be with her. I want to grow old with her… at this moment she feels the exact same way,” he said.

According to Us Weekly, Tori and Dean have been through a lot together. Fans should not quickly forget the couple’s money troubles, which could be the reason why they have agreed to do so many reality shows. It really was like a never-ending cycle.

Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling seem dedicated to one another, and completely determined to make their relationship work. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the couple may even end up having more children. Although the reality stars already have four young children, Dean recently revealed that the “shop” isn’t closed, and that there’s always a chance that the two will have another baby. While a lot of people don’t think that’s the best idea, worse things could happen.
