Ariana Madix Talks Cheating Story: ‘My Biggest Concern Was My Hair’
Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix watched the first episode of the season, which primarily focused on Kristen Doute’s supposed attempt to move on from her failed relationship with Tom Sandoval. Doute claimed she was super happy with her new British boyfriend, James, but she couldn’t help but spread rumors about Tom supposedly cheating on Ariana Madix while spending time in Miami with his friends.
Ariana Madix didn’t seem rattled by the rumor. In fact, she chose to trust her boyfriend, Tom, over stories that his disgruntled ex-girlfriend was choosing to dish. Perhaps it was the poor choice in outlet that made Ariana question the story. Kristen went straight to Scheana Marie, who happens to be Madix’s best friend. Now that Ariana has had time to digest the first episode, she is offering up a hilarious take on the show.
According to a new Bravo report, Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix learned of the rumors from Scheana Marie, who sat her best friend down to share what she had heard. And while fans of the show were expecting to see Ariana break down, she was cool, calm, and collected. In fact, hearing that her boyfriend may have cheated was not her primary concern.
“My biggest concern watching the conversation I had with Scheana at her apartment was the stupid piece of hair falling in my face. A conversation between Crazy #1 and Crazy #2 does not ‘hard proof’ make. Texts to prove it”? I saw those texts months prior and I have more scandalous sounding conversations with my manager,” Ariana reveals of the scene where Scheana Marie is telling her what she knows.
Ariana Madix does have a point. On the show, Kristen Doute claimed she had so much information that it could only be true. But having a girl write that Tom forced her to prove that she was on her period is not exactly evidence. And, yes, Kristen claimed that she had texted with the girl, but the girl could have been lying the entire time. It wouldn’t be the first time someone has lied about an affair to get media attention.
“Someone is using the ‘say something a bunch of times’ method of trying to make something true. I have a genius level IQ and I evaluate all situations scientifically and logically. If I’m not worried about it, it’s not something to worry about. I’m the farthest thing from dumb you’ve ever met. I’m not incredibly confident about all of myself, but that is something that is just a fact,” Ariana Madix adds.
So, Madix doesn’t think the story is true. And Lisa Vanderpump claims that this story will develop over the next couple of episodes of Vanderpump Rules, according to the Inquisitr, meaning this story will only get bigger.
