Missouri Governor Jay Nixon Posts Photo Of Himself Voting: See Why It Was Taken Down [Photo]

Jay Nixon, the Democrat Missouri governor, posted a photo to his Twitter account in order to encourage voting. However, the photo went viral and not for the reason Nixon had hoped.

Earlier today, Jay Nixon’s twitter account fired up with activity after a particularly cheeky photo appeared on the account. In the photo we see Nixon (on the left) placing his vote. However, it wasn’t Nixon that eyes were drawn to in the photo. Instead, the woman sitting next to Nixon in the polling booth was the talk of Twitter after a portion of her buttocks was seen hanging out of her pants.

The photo was captioned, “Voting in #JMCO this morning. Make sure to cast your ballot & make your voice heard #Election2014”

There were no cheeky remarks or humour undertones in the photo caption, so some are wondering if Nixon even realized the behind before posting the photo. However, some are noting that the crack is pretty hard to not notice. After the photo hit Twitter and Facebook, commenters pointed out the obvious and the photo was removed and replaced with the one below.

What do you think? Was the photo an honest mistake or was there an underlying joke in the photo that we missed?
