Jolie Marriage: Angelina Jolie Says It ‘Feels Nice’ To Be Married, Considers Running For Office?

Angelina Jolie talked about her marriage to Brad Pitt and just how “nice” it feels to be husband and wife. Although the actress didn’t really have any intention of getting married even after Brad gave her a ring, she knew that it was something that her children really wanted. According to CBS News, Jolie told Vanity Fair that being married was a nice change and that she is happy that she did things on her terms.

“It does feel different. It feels nice to be husband and wife,” Jolie said. When asked about her nuptials, she said that her kids really took the lead, making the couple vow to say “sorry” if they ever fight.

“They did not expect us never to fight, but they made us promise to always say, ‘Sorry,’ if we do.’ So they said, ‘Do you?’ and we said, ‘We do!'” Jolie said.

Jolie’s marriage is still new, but her relationship isn’t new at all. She and Brad Pitt have been together since 2005. The two are working on a new movie together, one that was written by Jolie and is being directed by her as well. This is the second movie that the two have done together… the first was Mr. & Mrs. Smith back in 2005. It was on that movie set that the two met and fell in love. Now, the two are starring in By The Sea together, as a married couple.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jolie went blonde for her role in the film, but only by way of a wig. Jolie wasn’t having some post-marriage identity crisis by any means!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s marriage is a big part of their lives, but the two actors have had such a successful relationship because they support each other 100 percent. According to Today, Jolie also told Vanity Fair that she is “open” to pursuing politics. Of course this would be a big deal for her and would require her family to move back to the U.S. and take a bit of a backseat, but that’s something that she and Brad would need to work out.

Jolie has worked as a humanitarian for many years and many feel that she is very educated when it comes to politics.

“When you work as a humanitarian, you are conscious that politics have to be considered. Because if you really want to make an extreme change, then you have a responsibility,” she said.
