Angie Harmon Splits With Jason Sehorn: ‘Rizzoli And Isles’ Star Separates After 13 Years Of Marriage

Fans are stunned to learn that Jason Sehorn and Angie Harmon have split after 13 years of marriage. The Rizzoli & Isles star and the former football player have three daughters together. Though the reasons for the split have not been revealed, a rep for the actress has confirmed the two have split.

People shares that Angie Harmon and Jason Sehorn have split, having amicably separated after more than a decade of marriage. Her rep says that they are asking for privacy and respect during this separation for the sake of their daughters. Angie and Jason have daughters Finley, 11, Avery, 9, and Emery, 5.

The actress has spoken in the past about the challenges of keeping the family together when she has to spend a lot of time away from them for her work. Rizzoli & Isles films in Los Angeles while the family is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She’s previously explained that the family sometimes would travel to meet in the middle while she had time off on the weekends and that her children were very understanding.

Angie and Jason had a sweet engagement that many fans still remember. Sehorn surprised Harmon as she was doing The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 1998. As she was doing her segment, Jason walked out and got down on one knee to propose.

Though news of Angie Harmon’s split from Jason Sehorn has many stunned fans, there are those who wondered if something may have been up over the summer. In July, TMZ shared that Harmon had gotten a protective order for herself and her family against a woman named Janice Lee Davis. The order protected Angie, her three girls, a nanny and a family friend who lives at her California home. However, Sehorn was not named in the protective order.

At the time, sources told TMZ that the order didn’t include Jason because he’s never at their Los Angeles home as he lives in their home on the other coast. It seems that at the point the order was requested, the girls were living with Harmon as she was shooting Rizzoli & Isles. Now that the split has been made public, some wonder if Angie and Jason perhaps have been on the rocks for a while.

New episodes of Rizzoli & Isles will begin again this winter on TNT. In the meantime, many fans are stunned and saddened to hear of Jason Sehorn and Angie Harmon’s split.
