Eva Mendes Debuts Post-Baby Body, Looks Slim 7 Weeks After Giving Birth
Eva Mendes stepped out for the first time since giving birth to daughter Esmeralda — and she looks great. According to Mail Online, Mendes was out and about in Los Angeles on Saturday sans her beau and without her baby. The 40-year-old actress didn’t pay too much attention to paparazzi, and kept her belongings close by as she went about her errands. Her clothes were a little on the baggy side, but she looked chic nonetheless.
“Her button-down Mr Rodgers style sweater showed off cleavage well. Her midsection looked to already be quite small already, but it was clear she wanted it hidden. Baggy slacks hid her legs. There were no mom sandals for her as the Training Day star walked in four inch brown short boots that cut off above the ankle,” reports Mail Online.

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have chosen to keep their baby news private, and have not even announced the birth of their daughter themselves. In fact, Eva never even confirmed she was pregnant; People just figured it out when she stepped out with a pretty big baby bump. The actress has been really smart about keeping her family out of the public eye — and she has followed through on every front. For instance, she hasn’t tweeted since 2011.
According to another report by Mail Online, Ryan Gosling has been out and about a bit more that his girlfriend, but he is still just as private as she is. Gosling, however, is still working. He is filming The Nice Guys in Atlanta, Georgia, but heads back to Los Angeles to be with his newborn whenever he gets a break. Eva is not working on anything particular right now and sources say that she may actually leave Hollywood. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Eva is willing to take a break from work to be a stay at home mom.
“It’s been tough on her hiding away with so much attention on her, and she’s turned into a fierce mama bear. She’s so fed up with the fame game and couldn’t think of anything worse than raising a child in LA,” a source shared.
